People believe that having “high cholesterol” is the leading cause of high blood pressure, arteriosclerosis (hardening of your arteries), heart attacks and strokes.
Seeing as 1 in 4 people in the USA die from a heart attack, that paints a lot of blame on big, bad, ol' cholesterol.
