The 3 B's Of Bodybuilding

Today let's talk about the 3 B's of Bodybuilding.

We recently got asked for some advice when it came to lifting weights and building muscle.

They wanted to know which programs to do, how much protein to eat, and what the best lifts were for maximize muscle growth.

While those are all good questions, they're still in the beginner stage of his journey, never having seriously dedicated themselves to the gym before.

To break things down in the most simple way, we came up with the 3 B's of Bodybuilding.

Here they are:

#1 - BREAK

In order to build new muscle, first you must break down the old muscle.

This is simply how your body works.

By straining your muscles against external forces (AKA: Lifting Weights) you literally rip your muscle fibers apart.

When your muscle fibers rip apart, your body responds by swelling the area (giving you a PUMP), repairing the torn muscle fibers, and adding new muscle fibers to reinforce the area and make it stronger.

(All of this happens microscopically of course.)

And that's primarily how your body builds new muscle tissue.

The takeaway is this:

If you want to grow bigger & stronger muscles you are going to have to progressively overload them with heavier & heavier force.

This force can come from body weight, it can come from machine weights, it can come from free weights.

It can come from cutting down trees and lifting logs like a lumberjack.

But in order to grow, first you must break down what's already there.

So get in the gym, lift heavy, lift often, and you will start seeing results.

#2 - BINGE

If you want your body to grow you are going to need to give it the fuel it needs to grow.

Simply put, you are going to need to eat, a lot.

We get questions all the time from guys who say, "I go to the gym 5x per week and I eat a lot but I can't gain any weight or muscle, what's wrong?"

What's wrong is that they are not eating enough to GROW.

Eating "a lot" of food is relative.

It doesn't mean anything.

"A lot" of food to a normal person is very different than to a sumo wrestler.

This is where calorie counting & macro counting come into play.

If you think you're eating at lot, and you aren't gaining any size, then it's time to sit down and actually write down everything that you're eating.

We bet you aren't eating enough.

(For the average guy)

If you aren't eating at least 3,000 calories a day and you aren't eating at least your bodyweight in protein everyday then you aren't trying to build muscle.

Here's a fun fact that only people who have truly eaten enough to grow before know...

Bulking sucks.

You feel bloated and full all of the damn time.

Whenever you see a plate of rice and chicken breast you want to puke in your mouth.

But hey, we didn't say it was going to be all sugar and rainbows here.

You are literally transforming your body into a lean, mean, muscle-bound machine.

You're going to have some growing pains.

So eat, eat, and eat some more. It'll all be worth it for sure!

#3 - BOOST

How many of the fitness models that you see on Instagram & on health magazines created the body that they have "naturally"?

I'll tell you.

Literally everyone who creates a body that looks like a greek god, or has muscles that stop women in their tracks is on some type of performance enhancer.

*Before you break out the pitchforks, think about it for a second. If your entire livelihood was based off of how you look or perform (Models & Athletes) why wouldn't you do EVERYTHING possible to maximize your natural gifts?*

Now there is the Darkside of performance enhancers and there is the Lightside of performance enhancers.

The Darkside being illegal & dangerous drugs/chemicals that may help you grow into a monster but also will probably lead to some pretty nasty negative side effects or get you thrown in jail.

The Lightside being legal supplements and supports that will help you grow big and strong but have little to no side effects and you can take them pretty much worry free.

Does the Lightside produce as much results as the Darkside?

Definitely not.

The only thing that gives people results like steroids is steroids.

But will the Lightside give you a boost in your performance and help to maximize the amount of time, effort, and dedication that you are putting in the gym and the kitchen?

110% they will.

But how do you know which Lightside supplements to take that actually work and aren't just sugar pills?

Well, we're glad that you asked.

Here's the thing...

All performance enhancers, Lightside or Darkside, when it comes to gaining muscle mass, they all revolve around the same thing.

Boosting your testosterone.

Testosterone is what binds to the androgen receptors in your muscles and helps them grow big and strong.

People who use steroids are literally injecting themselves with different versions of testosterone.

So if you're looking for a "lightside" supplement that can actually help you out in the gym and help you grow bigger and stronger muscles, then you need a supplement that helps to naturally boost your testosterone levels.

You need.....
