The Perfect Time To Change Your Life

The beginning of a new month feels like a breath of fresh air, doesn't it?

New opportunities, new beginnings, and so much potential are ahead of us.

Do you have any big plans or goals for this month?

I do.

This month I plan on completely transforming my body.

Here's the goal:

Lose 10 pounds and get a 6-pack this month!

How's that going to happen?

Diet & Exercise of course!

  1. Follow a Carnivore/Ketogenic Diet
  2. Walk for 30+ minutes after waking up
  3. Fast for 16 hours a day
  4. Heavy weight training at the gym 4-5x per week

Sounds fun, doesn't it?!

Here's the reasoning behind my plan:

I've tried a lot of diets in my life, and the carnivore diet is the #1 diet I've ever followed for sparking a rapid, complete body transformation.

(In my personal experience of course, your results may be different.)

Throughout my experiments with the Carnivore Diet I've noticed that if I strictly follow the diet I can lose around 8-10 pounds in 2 weeks.

This is because the carnivore diet is a good "detox" where it flushes out all of the crap & water build up that has happened over the past few weeks/months/years of poor eating.

After 2 weeks, weight loss continues, but at a much less rapid pace.

Since Carnivore is most effective the first 2 weeks you are on it, I only plan on being on the hardcore diet for about 15 days.

This is to reap the rewards of the rapid transformation that 2 weeks of pure carnivore can give me.

Afterwards, I'm switching to a Ketogenic/low carb diet to build up more muscle mass for the last 2 weeks of the month.

"Why not just stay on Carnivore?" You might be wondering.

That's because in addition to losing 10 lbs, my goal is also to have a 6-pack by the end of August.

While carnivore is fantastic for losing weight and burning fat off of your body, in-and-of itself it won't give you a nice looking six-pack.

This is because---as I found out after going on carnivore for an entire month before---when you're on carnivore for a long time your muscles get harder and you get leaner, but they don't swell up.

That means when you're on Carnivore or any Zero Carb diet, your muscles will tend to look flat and deflated.

This is because muscles swell up and become big/pronounced due to a build up of glycogen in the muscle, which is created because of carbs.

By eliminating ALL carbs, your muscles can't get that nice full-look that comes from carbs.

So you gotta eat some carbs if you want to have those big, bulking muscles, you know?

Also, a quick note about fasting.

I'm not sure I need to reiterate this here, but intermittent fasting is simply amazing for your body.

Most people follow a 16:8 protocol, meaning they eat during an 8 hour window each day and fast for 16 hours each day.

It's really not hard if you consider that for half of your fasting time you're sleeping.

The benefits of increased fat loss, improvements in anabolism (muscle growth), and just overall health improvements cannot be understated.

Fasting is great.

To recap, my diet/workout plan for this month is:

  1. Carnivore to lose fat/weight & lean out (2 weeks)
  2. Lift heavy to gain muscle mass (4 weeks)
  3. Keto/Low Carb to fill out muscles (2 weeks)
  4. Fast for at least 16 hours per day (4 weeks)
  5. Walk for 30+ minutes every morning (4 weeks)

Right now I'm 6' feet tall and weigh 190 lbs.

No abs.

We'll see where I'm at come August 31st!

You want to know something I find very interesting?

People believe that rapid body transformations take a long time.

But the reality is that they don't have to.

You CAN lose a lot of weight and/or you CAN gain a lot of muscle/strength in a month.

(In a healthy way of course.)

It's really all about how hardcore you want to be about it.

How much effort are you willing to put in and how much are you willing to suffer to achieve your goals?

I've been on basically the SAD (Standard American Diet) for the past 2-3 months or so.

While it's been delicious, it's no bueno for building a good body.

Likewise switching from SAD to carnivore so abruptly is brutal.

But I've got a goal that I plan on accomplishing, so bring on the pain.
